A fruit tree belonging to the citrus family, whose fruit has different names such as lime, green lemon, and Peruvian lemon. The tree comes from Burma and India and was brought to the Mediterranean region over a thousand years ago by Arabian merchants.
The essential oil is obtained by cold pressing the peel of the fruit, and is ideal for creating a peaceful, serene and aromatic atmosphere with its bitter-sweet, citric fresh scent. The oil is produced in Spain, Mexico and the US, and is not toxic or irritant and suitable for use on sensitive skin, and can be indicated for all skin types. The oil is phototoxic and should not be used before exposure to the sun.

USE
Lime essential oil can be mixed with other products of TAHE Organic Care line for costumed beauty rituals. Precautions Essential oil is photosensitive and should be kept out of direct sunlight and UVA rays for 24 hours after application. Avoid contact with the eyes. If eye irritation occurs, rinse with plenty of water. Do not swallow. If the oil is swallowed accidently it may cause vomiting, diarrhea, drowsiness or confusion. For topical use. If the oil irritates the skin, use in a very diluted form or not at all. Not recommended if pregnant. For children always use in diluted form. Storage: Keep in a cool dry place away from the light. Always keep in the original bottle. Important notice: Essential oils are powerful substances that should never be used undiluted unless under supervision from a professional aromatherapist.
